Roger, Mike and I hiked the Grand Canyon from the South Kaibab Trail on the way down and spent the night at the bottom and slept on the ground. James hiked with us for part of the way down. We got up early the next day and hiked up Bright Angel Trail on the way up. We saw lots of deer, condor and other animals on our trip. Yes, it was difficult for the last two miles out of the canyon.
